‘They had three years’: Former state LNP director questions how the Liberals got to this point
A former state LNP director says the Liberal party’s election campaign failed to articulate the values and beliefs of the party and Australians.
Geoffrey Green says he can’t understand how the party came to the policies they eventually settled on.
“They had plenty of time, they had three years in opposition … and they had in my view one of the best potential leaders,” he said.
Mr Green also pushed for an independent review into what went wrong with their campaign and called for resignations.
