Three charges dropped as alleged mushroom cook killer court case gets underway

The court case of the woman accused of allegedly murdering three of her ex-husband’s relatives and attempting to murder one other has finally gotten underway in a regional Victorian court today.
Nine News reporter Penny Liersch told Gary Hardgrave Erin Patterson has had three other attempted murder charges relating to her husband dropped.
“Certainly, they [the jury] left with a direction today not to discuss the case with anyone in their family or friendship groups,” she said.
Erin Patterson was accused of allegedly poisoning four relatives with a beef wellington laced with a deadly mushroom.
She has denied the allegations and has pleaded not guilty.
