National Party leader, David Littleproud joined Ben Davis ahead of the election to discuss renewables, the fuel excise and the Coalition’s plan to ease the cost of living.

David Littleproud said, “[An] all renewables approach can’t work, and for us in the bush, just let me say we all want to reduce our emissions.”

“Transmission lines, solar panels and wind turbines across our landscape, that’s tearing up your food security, pushing up your food prices because we’re losing prime agricultural land, and [they’re] actually destroying the very thing they [believe] they’re going to protect, the actual environment.”

When questioned about the Coalitions fuel policy, the Nationals Leader said fuel prices will drop ‘straight away’ if the Coalition is successful in the Federal Election.
