The prospect of a minority government looms over the upcoming federal election as pre-polls grow increasingly close.

Former Labor Defence Minister Joel Fitzgibbon told Bill McDonald on 4BC Mornings, “We need to turn crisis into opportunity.”

“The crisis of a hung parliament doesn’t have to be ugly,” Fitzgibbon continued.
