Concerned residents are launching legal action against the State Government over their Fire Ant eradication program

A group of residents on Brisbane’s outskirts who have recently launched legal action against the state government. The Stop The Toxic Fire Ant Program Group are concerned over the government’s fire ant poisoning program – citing potential harm to domestic pets and calling for a proper impact study to be conducted. Olympia chats with group member Sarah McGuire who tells us more about the deaths of domestic pets that are potentially related to this action and other impacts on local flora and fauna.
