NRL fans should be getting excited, as Ryan Papenhuyzen makes his long-awaited return to the field, marking his first game since round 18 of the 2022 NRL season.

Ryan Papenhuyzen is back in Sunshine Coast Falcons colours this Saturday, playing in Queensland’s Hostplus Cup.

CEO of the Sunshine Coast Falcons, Chris Flannery, told Peter Psaltis on Wide World of Sports, “I think we’re going to have a big crowd here to see ‘Paps’ in his comeback.”

“As we know, he is the ultimate professional, and we aren’t going to rely on him on Saturday night, we are just going to hope he can slot in…” Mr. Flannery continued.
