A significant amount of illicit drugs have been discovered during a raid on an industrial area in Pinkenba.

Police discovered 27 kilograms of methamphetamine, 1 kilogram of cocaine, firearms and a significant amount of cash at the site.

Neil Breen said on 4BC Brisbane Live that it’s “one of the biggest ice busts we’ve ever seen”.

A 38-year-old Albion man was arrested at Brisbane airport where he was allegedly trying to flee the country; he’s been charged with 12 offences.
