China lifts trade barriers on Australian fruit

Fruit growers are labelling the easing of Chinese trade barriers as a ‘major opportunity’.

Beijing is lifting a ban on our exports which will allow citrus, stone fruit, mango and cherry producers to again ship their products into the lucrative market.

Rural editor Sophie Clarke caught up with Australian Mango Industry Association chief executive Brett Kelly to hear what it means for the industry.
