The increase in inflation means our beer is becoming more expensive, beer expert Matt Kirkegaard tells us why.

Brisbane beer writer, Matt Kirkegaard, from BeerMatt, told Laurel, Gary & Mark that the beer tax has been “a real double whammy for consumers who want to have a beer.”

Mark said “$12 for a schooner is too much.”

Mr Kirkegaard agreed that “the drink that is very egalitarian and very social is actually starting to become unaffordable.”
