Australians will soon be able to double the amount of medicine they can collect on a single script.

From September customers can collect 60 days worth of medicine, in line with other countries including New Zealand and the UK.

Consumers Health Forum of Australia CEO Doctor Elizabeth Deveny welcomes the change but says consultation is key.
