Stink bugs to blame for hold-up on 1900 new cars
Roughly 1900 cars are sitting at the Port of Brisbane due to fear of contamination.
It’s the latest in a series of hurdles to get new cars on Australian shores after global supply chain issues and the pandemic first caused delays.
Sofie Formica, filling in for Laurel Edwards, told Gary and Mark new cars have stink bugs, snails and seeds “in them, on them and around them” after sitting in ports and paddocks overseas.
