Josh Morris confident Joseph Suaalii won’t be lost to Rugby League

Continuous Call Team

Josh Morris is confident Joseph Suaalii won’t be lost to the NRL after his management confirmed he’ll be switching codes at the end of his contract with the Roosters in 2024.

Suaalii was one of the most hotly sought after athletes and has signed a three-year deal with the NSW Waratahs and Rugby Australia reportedly worth $1.6 million a year.

Former NRL star and member of The Continuous Call Team Josh Morris believes the 19-year-old will return to the NRL at some point in the future.

“I think he’ll be back,” Morris said.

“He’ll get over playing in front of half-packed stadiums when he’s playing Rugby Union.

“The money is crazy.

“Obviously I feel like James Tedesco re-signing has prompted this signing.”
