Paul Vautin says Knight’s skipper Kalyn Ponga must listen to and take the advice of medical professionals while he weighs up his playing future, following another serious head knock.

It was a sickening blow, and his fourth head knock in the past 12 months.

“What happened yesterday is a clear sign to everyone, but hopefully particularly to Kalyn, that there is something wrong,” Vautin said on Wide World of Sports.

“I don’t know the answer … but he needs rest.”
