Bus driver cleared after schoolkids fall sick after eating lollies
Police have cleared a Townsville bus driver of any criminal offence after more than a dozen children fell sick after eating lollies.
The children travelling on the bus became ill shortly after arriving at Bluewater State School yesterday morning, with some taken to hospital.
It’s understood they had lollies on the way to school.
Investigations have now uncovered no evidence the children were exposed to a toxic substance.
There is no indication a criminal offence has occurred.
All students have been discharged from hospital.
