In a week’s time, Neil Breen will be rocking a shaved head.

It’s all for the World’s Greatest Shave, and he’s almost hit his target of raising $10,000.

He spoke to CEO of the Leukaemia Foundation, Chris Tanti, about the fundraiser and what it means.

“The shave is really symbolic, we have a lot fun with it and lots of kids get involved,” he said.

“But the symbolism is that people develop a cancer and then they go into treatment and then they lose their hair and they lose their hair.”

He said the most eye-opening part of his job is how much Australian kids know about it.
