Australian scientists discover how to make electricity out of thin air

Australian scientists have made a world-first discovery to make electricity out of thin air. 

Monash University researchers have discovered an enzyme produced by a common bacteria found in soil naturally converts hydrogen in the air into electricity.

The discovery means devices like mobile phones and smart watches could eventually be charged without being plugged into a wall outlet.
