The head of famous family owned chocolate company, Haigh Chocolates, has passed away.

John Haigh died at his home last week, aged 93.

4BC journalist Siobhan Fahey worked for Haigh’s Chocolates for 4 years.

She said it was a true family-run business.

“A lot of the employees stayed there a really long time.”
