Brisbane Broncos CEO Dave Donaghy says the 2022 season is behind the club as they look to kick off the new year.

He’s confident the playing group will “plot their own course” this year.

“There is an air of positivity around the place and I think that’s rightfully so,” he told Peter Psaltis on Wide World of Sports.

“There’s been a lot of good things done and happening internally.”

Asked about Payne Haas, he said he’s “hit the ground running” despite a difficult time in his personal life.

“Obviously he’s had challenging a personal level, pre-season period but since his return mid-January he’s hit the ground running he’s done everything that the coaches have asked of him and his teammates want from him,” he said.
