Search continues for missing mum, son arrested in Brisbane
A man has been arrested as the search continues for his missing mother.
Police were called to 61-year-old Wendy Sleeman’s home in Elanora yesterday.
It’s believed she called police to alert them to a potential burglary.
Upon arrival, police found blood in the property and a door mat on fire.
The woman’s 30-year-old son was arrested at a home in Durack this afternoon by specialist police.
It comes after an urgent search by police.
Detectives continue to search for a blue Honda Jazz hatch Queensland registration 952AT4 and appeal for members of the public to be on the look-out for the car and report any sightings to police.
