Many Australians say they’re more confused than ever when it comes to recognising scams after the Optus hack.

Laurel admitted on 4BC Breakfast this morning she had been caught out by assuming a legitimate text had been a scam.

It’s led the team to wonder how you can tell when a message is “actually legit”.
