Drone deliveries might be a piece of futuristic technology already on our doorsteps – literally – but not everyone likes the idea.

Drone deliveries for food and coffee are offered in some suburbs in Logan.

One company delivers to 20 suburbs and this year alone has made 75,000 deliveries.

Loganholme resident Dan Ling is fed up with the noise.

He said there were three deliveries in the last half an hour.

“You hear them first … it sounds like a very loud mosquito, and then it’s like a whipper snipper going over your house.”

He recorded the below video, and said the council had had a few complaints.
