Royce Simmons reflects on his amazing Big Walk for Dementia

Penrith Panthers legend Royce Simmons has reflected on his amazing Big Walk for Dementia, raising around $1 million.

The Panthers premiership winner played 238 games for his beloved team between 1980 and 1991 before going on to coach them. 

Earlier this year, Simmons announced he had been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, and set off on an 11 day walk from Gooloogong to BlueBet Stadium to raise money for the Dementia Australia Research Foundation.
