Australia has its first men’s finalist at Wimbledon in almost 20 years after Rafael Nadal was forced to withdraw.

The world number 4 was experiencing abdominal issues that grew worse after the first set of his quarterfinal yesterday.

Despite his win, Nadal has bowed out of his semifinal match against Nick Kyrgios, scheduled for tomorrow.

It means the Australian has been launched to the finals, to face either Novak Djokovic or Cam Norrie.
