Mungbean makeover on the menu

Researchers are hoping gene mapping, being carried out on mungbean varieties, could eventually be carried out on other pulses to develop more resilient crops.

The University of Queensland is characterising the legume’s genes to develop more nutrient efficient and climate resilient crops.
