A man has been charged by Gatton police following a string of alleged serious domestic violence incidents in the Lockyer Valley. 

A 42-year-old woman on Saturday reported several allegations of assault and strangulation to police.

She was taken to safety before the man was found lying in the roof space of a Regency Downs home.

He allegedly ran at police before he was arrested.

He’s due to face court today.
