The market for bio-based products is tipped to exceed $1 trillion in the near future – and Australian farmers are in a strong position to tap into it.

The ban on single use productions is only expected to accelerate the transition.

Rural Reporter Gail Watson spoke with Deputy Dean of Engineering at Queensland University of Technology Ian O’Hara , who says Australia already has a large bio-mass resource – ready for conversion into useable products.
