A man has died following a single truck rollover at Carseldine in Brisbane’s north.

Initial investigations indicate just before 12am, the truck was travelling southbound on Gympie Arterial Road when the driver lost control.

The truck rolled toward northbound lanes and its asphalt cargo spilled across multiple lanes.

The 49-year-old Mansfield man was declared dead at the scene.

The Forensic Crash Unit are investigating.
