Haitian gang members have kidnapped 17 American missionaries near Port-au-Prince.

Three minors and 14 adults were abducted after visiting an orphanage outside the country’s capital when armed gang members intercepted their vehicle.

The volunteers belong to the Christian Aid Ministries group based in Ohio.
