Six people have been hospitalised following a crash northbound on the M1. 

A truck and multiple cars were involved in the crash at Eight Mile Plains at 8.52am.

Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics attended the scene and six people, including two children, were transported to hospital.

While the scene has been cleared, 4BC traffic reporter Olympia Kwitowski says the left lane is blocked, with delays back to Tanah Merah.
