Additional McGrath Foundation nurses to make ‘massive difference’

The Brisbane area has gained five new McGrath Breast Care nurses to provide much-needed support for those battling breast cancer.

Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer for women in Queensland and one in seven Australian women will be diagnosed before the age of 85.

“They’re there to support them throughout the whole of the treatment process,” McGrath Foundation CEO Holly Masters told Neil Breen.

“It genuinely makes a massive difference and gives some peace of mind in a way that they don’t have before.”
