Remarkable vintage for alternative wines

Despite battling drought, heavy rains and strong winds amid a global pandemic, Granite Belt wine producers are expecting the vintage to be remembered for some remarkable wines.

Concern among the Queensland growing region surrounding patchy fruit set has been alleviated – many pleasantly surprised with the vintage they’ve delivered.

Rural reporter Sophie Clarke caught up with Granite Belt Wine Industry’s Peter O’Reilly to hear more about the wild season:
