Locally owned Pure Gold Pineapples have been attending to one of their growers affected by the fires.

Brooks and Sons Pineapple Farm in Bungundarra has been devasted by a fire that ripped through the area.

Pure Gold Pineapples CEO Joe Craggs tells Ross Greenwood it’s been a hard year.

“The fires are just a catastrophic start to the season but we’ll get through that and we’re just trying to keep the boys resilient and get them through this situation.”
