A 2GB listener has shared the remarkable story of his son battling and persevering in life with cancer.

Will’s leukemia diagnosis at the age of two marked the start of three years of operations, chemotherapy radiation and a bone marrow transplant.

He was given a 10 per cent chance of living and has since undergone over 80 operations.

Will is currently working despite undergoing intense chemotherapy as he battling multiple different cancers, including thyroid cancer and lymphoma.

Ray Hadley said it’s one of the most “remarkable stories” he’s ever heard.
