The 19th annual Sherwood Community Festival will be held on Friday 21 November from 5.30-9.30pm. Sherwood Rd will be closed to traffic but there is plenty of parking available in nearby streets, or catch the train to Sherwood Station which is directly alongside the festival. There is a main raffle prize (valued at $1500) is a weekend for two in Port Douglas. There’ll be gift stalls of handmade goods, jewellery, craft, clothing, ceramics and homewares. Ethnic food stalls will be available.

Nundah's Fresh Farmers Markets are on EVERY Sunday in the Nundah Train station Car Park, tucked just below Nundah Village. There is NO entry fee and we can guarantee the cheapest, freshest produce in the area. The market is mostly made up of fresh Fruit and Vegetable Stalls all sourced from Northern NSW, Stanthorpe and Noosa and all selling a very wide range of produce. The Northey Street Farm Markets are on every Sunday from 6am to 11am. Over 30 stalls of fresh organic fruit and vegetables, all seasonal, plus dairy products, milk, eggs, cheeses, yoghurt, cream and organic coffee, fruit juices, breads, meats, chicken. The uniqueness of these markets is that the produce comes straight from the grower. Northey Street City Farm also runs the Chai Cafe on Sunday mornings with a wide range of delicious breakfast items including organic cakes, muffins, scones and smoothies for children.

The markets consist of a farmers market, flea market, art and craft market and a trash & treasure Market. The Northside Markets are on from 6am to midday right next to Nundah Rail Station. Chandler Market – Sunday from 6am to 1pm at Sleeman Centre, Chandler

Sunnybank Hills Sunday Markets are held at Sunnybank Hills Shopping Town, Compton Road from 6am to 12 noon. Fully under cover markets with a huge variety of fresh from the farm fruit and veges at bargain prices plus new goods and plants, jams etc.

An acclaimed film has been perfectly paired with the secret location. Ticket price is $55 (plus $2 booking fee) and includes entertainment, an alcoholic beverage and snack on arrival. An invitation to enjoy sharing the REAL meaning of Christmas! This live theatre event engages all the senses so visitors may experience the wonder of the Christmas story. Features include: marketplace, local and guest artists on stage, face painting and craft for the kids and live animals.

Bridgeman Baptist Community Church present Christmas in the Park on Saturday 13th December in the Bangalow Street Park (off Albany Creek Rd). Starting at 5pm arrive early to enjoy fun rides and craft for the kids, great food and coffee and all the glow sticks you could possibly need! Carols by Candlelight commence at 7pm With music and dance, fireworks, the fun antics of Bridgey D. Bear and of course a heart-felt retelling of the Christmas Story, Carols by Candlelight is a great night out for the whole family. A free Park-and-Ride bus service is available between 4.30pm to 9.30pm from Bridgeman Baptist Community Church. Buses will stop at the bus stops on Albany Creek Road and Graham Road.
