Thurston confident Maroons will ‘do their state proud’ despite Munster loss
With the combined 2022 State of Origin scores, just four points separate the Maroons and the Blues ahead of tonight’s decider.
It’s set to be a tough game for Queensland to secure as five-eighth Cameron Munster isolates with COVID-19.
But assistant coach Johnathan Thurston is confident the Maroons are focused and ready for the clash.
“The last couple of days has just been about getting their mindset ready for what’s about to happen,” he told Laurel, Gary and Mark.
“I’ve been really happy with the team and the way they’ve just gone about their business despite what’s happened.
“It’s a very professional outfit; we need to back their skill. We’ve got a gun side that will certainly do their state proud.”
