Suncorp Family Fishing Day

Next Sunday 9^th August is the 4BC Suncorp Family Fishing Day.

It would be great if you could come along and show your support, we’ve been working hard since the start of the year to create a great event.

Dave Downie will be broadcasting live from the site from 5am, followed by Russell White at 11am. Activities will kick-off at 9am.

We’ll have free fishing clinics for the kid’s and ocean kayaking lessons for all the family. Adults will also enjoy a celebrity cook-off with our very own Victoria Carthew competing and Jamie Dunn hosting! The cook-off is followed by a Salmon Master Class where you can learn how to cook three delicious Salmon recipes. Our activities will wrap up at 4pm when nightly live entertainment for the Moreton Bay Classic begins.

Activities and stalls kick off:

- Free kid’s fishing clinics with 2 Bent Rods will run until 4pm

- Humminbird will run free ocean kayaking lessons for kids and parents until 1pm and supervised by Queensland Surf Life Savers

- Stall holders are open all day until 4pm

- Kid’s can visit the Suncorp tent and take part in a coluring in competition with great prizes to be won

10am

The first Suncorp Quest Junior Fishing Classic run by 2 Bent Rods. Kid’s under the age of 17 can learn how to cast a line and try their luck at catching a fish. Fill out an entry form below to take part in the activity!

The Queensland Fire Service will be on site with a fire engine and Blazer the koala
