Dr Cam Day
Vet Surgeon and Animal Behaviour Consultant

Dr Cam Day is a veterinary surgeon, an animal behaviour consultant and media presenter. He claims to have two professions, the first as a husband to his wife Kathryn and as a parent of three children and the second is his consultancy.
He is one of the few veterinarians in Australia working full time as an animal behaviour consultant. He consults with dog, cat and bird owners on a daily basis, helping to solve problems such as aggressive and problem barking behaviours in dogs. He also helps his animal clients overcome profound fears, phobias and obsessive-compulsive disorders. Escape behaviours in dogs and roaming behaviour in cats are a common reason for pet owners to consult with Dr Day and noise problems with pet birds is also a common behavioural malady that Dr Day deals with. He also consults to media organisations and is Brisbane's radio Pet Vet (a role he has been enjoying since 1984). He appears weekly on Brisbane radio stations and writes or has written for many publications including the Brisbane News, Puppies Australia, Kittens and Cats Annual, PETStock, Paws and Claws and a variety of other magazines around the country.
