  • Hi Kay,Here's a little thought,Don't do the crime and you won't have to do the time.As a Visitor we were always told when traveling overseas, not only were we subject to Australian Law but also the law of the country that had allowed us to cross their borders. It's about respect not remorse once you've been caught for braking the LAW, Boo-Hoo-hoo, Poor Me!!! Please Kay are you for real?????

    • Westy... you miss the point mate... some prisoners in the world are detained for political reasons. Ever hear of Nelson Mandela or Aung San Suu Kyi (Burma leader). Some families have their loved ones disappear through hostage situation or kidnapping. It would be nice if the world was black and white like you describe but unfortunately it's not.

      • @kaye They are not our problems the UN should be acting on these regimes not Australia. You should have more sense than to put yourself and your children into danger and under duress because you chose to work there, wake up not exactly bright. Further you are not slow in trying to make a quid out of it, who wants your story keep your book. Lastly Nelson Mandella started as a terrorist and is still one at heart, just look where South Africa is going now, will be just another Zimbawze outcome. Look at the 14 year old in Indonesia.
