1116 4BC's General Manager David McDonald today announced Brisbane Radio icon Jamie Dunn would be heading up 1116 4BC's new Breakfast show in 2009. Jamie will bring a wealth of broadcasting experience to the show as he makes his first venture into TALK Radio.

General Manager David McDonald said "I am excited to be able to secure someone of Jamie's stature and ability in the Industry to lead our line-up in Breakfast."

Earlier this week Ross Davie announced he is leaving the station to move fulltime into running his own advertising business. And everyone's favourite broadcaster Peter Dick will move into hosting 1116 4BC's Afternoon show. Rod Tiley who currently hosts Afternoon's will return to anchoring 1116 4BC's Breakfast News.

Jamie Dunn said, "There's a lot of people in Brisbane who think I'm an opinionated loudmouth and I'm delighted to be given the opportunity to prove them right by hosting a Breakfast Talk show. Secretly most of us on the FM band have been pinching the ideas and hot topics from Talk Radio for years and reusing them on FM Music stations. The fun, entertainment and mischievousness will still be there combined with some very strong local and community based issues which need to be aired and resolved. Even Agro wants to say something for himself for a change! I cannot wait to start on 12th January 2009 - bring it on."

Jamie will be joined on air by Ian Calder and Courtney Burns.

1116 4BC's new Monday - Friday line-up for 2009 will be:-

Breakfast- Jamie Dunn Mornings - Greg Cary Afternoons - Peter Dick Drive - Michael P. Smith Sports Today - Billy J. Smith & Peter Psaltis Nights - Ian Maurice
