John JB Bozuwa

JB has over 25 years within the motoring industry - buying, selling and reconditioning cars. Working his way through the ranks, he ended up with his own car-yards as well as 26 franchises throughout Australia. JB also dabbled in the Travel Industry with 2 agencies in Brisbane.

What was your first job?
1975-1978. Three years Service in the Australian Army Medical Corps - loving every day of it!

What is your favourite on air moment thus far?
I would think it's every time I go on-air but if I had to pick one moment it was when a listener rang in to say that his car had been stolen. The listener needed to get to hospital every day and thanks to generosity of our other listeners, we were able to get him a replacement car. It was a great feeling.

What is your most embarrassing on air moment?
All I can say is, 'Never invite your mother to your place of work!' I love my Mum but all Brisbane now knows about the mischief I got up to as a child!

If you could interview anyone (living or dead) who would it be?
Peter Brock. No other driver in the history of Australian Motor Racing can challenge the record of Peter Brock, who dominated the sport for the last three decades.
