Ian Maurice

Starting in radio in Cairns and moving through Inverell, Katoomba, Sydney and Brisbane, Ian honed his skills before joining Channel 7 as the country's first weekday TV sports presenter.

In 1998 Ian was part of the acclaimed Channel Nine team and covered the Commonwealth games from Kuala Lumpur. Ian's credentials are simply outstanding and cover almost every facet of radio, television and live entertainment.

What was your first job?
Copy boy at the Sydney Daily Mirror.

What is your favourite on air moment thus far?
It changes daily because there is always something exciting happening on my show!

What is your most embarrassing on air moment?
Broadcasting a rugby league test match for Channel Nine in New Zealand while peeing into an orange juice bottle.
