Chris Nixon

Chris Nixon has been a weekly contributor to the 4BC Motoring Show since 2005, but has been writing and talking about cars for more than 30 years.

He's worked on magazines such as Wheels and Motor and been motoring editor of several publications, including The Courier-Mail.

He's widely involved in the motoring world, part of the team behind the Brisbane International Motor Show and publicist for major international events in racing and rallying.

His job takes him to car launches around the country and to race tracks and rally forests and in the course of each year he tests more than 60 new cars from Peugeots to Porsches.

He's passionate about all aspects of the car world - its products, motorsport, the industry, lifestyle, environment, design and its many brilliant people.

Once he could even drive and achieved a minor milestone - a class win aboard a Ford Falcon in a Bathurst support race.
