Investigations are continuing into a two vehicle traffic crash yesterday involving two horses and two officers from the Queensland Police Mounted Unit.
About 3.30 yesterday afternoon, a police vehicle towing a horse float was travelling along Moggill Road (near Hawkesbury Road) when it was struck by another car.
The male driver of the car was treated for whiplash and conveyed by QAS to the RBH for observation.
A female police constable and driver of the police vehicle was also conveyed to the RBH suffering from whiplash while a second female constable sustained shoulder damage.
Police horses PJ and Teddy (pictured right) were not physically injured during the crash.
The forensic crash unit is investigating the incident.
