Morning Round-up
Break and enter charges, Aspley: Police have charged a 21 year-old Booval man in relation to a break and enter of a bottle shop on the corner of Becketts Road and Saturn Crescent in Bridgeman Downs. Around 2.30am police were advised of the incident and given a description of the motor vehicle the offenders were believed to have fled in. The vehicle was located on Ellerdale Street shortly after. The man has been charged with enter with intent and unlawful use of a motor vehicle. He is due to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates court today.
Arson, Kirwan: A fire broke out in a residential building of a school on Harveys Range Road in Kirwan yesterday. Around 5.45pm the Queensland Fire and Rescue service attended the blaze which caused extensive damage to the building. No one from the school was injured during the incident. A 14 year-old girl will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act in relation to the fire.
