  • Wobblyone, thank you for your comment. You are right; we do what we have to do given the systemic failures of the so called remedies e.g. the Childrens Commissioner, who does NOT speak for children. And the Queensland Ombudsman, who according to a government report only investigates 1% (ONE PERCENT!!!) of all complaints received, which is an absolute joke and further evidence that he only has a sort of alibi function. Nevertheless all these useless make believe offices cost Queensland taxpayers a lot of money and mislead the people!

  • We are supposed to be a
    civilised nation that leaves
    the protection of its people
to the polce and the legal
    system.While the public trust
    that system to deliver that
    outcome we will remain that
    civilised nation,as i hope
we will always do.But once that trust is eroded it can
be very hard to bring back.
    Within clear and reasonable
    limits the police need the
    power and rescoures to fight
    crime.The courts need the
power and the will to back
    up the police when accused
    offenders are found guilty
    after a fair trial.The harsh
    reality is that a growing
    number of people are taking
    the view that these things
are not happening. That is when trust in the system is
gone and the spectre of the
law of the jungle raises its
    ugly head.This issue should
    be above party politics.This
concerns all of us.If we cant
    act together on this vital
issue than we as a society
    are in deep trouble.

  • And if Political Correctness is what you bloggers are trying to display, then you should be aware of its definition.

"Political correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional minority, and the mainstream media,
that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end"

  • Melissa Collins, out of control crime, lenient sentencing, official corruption and the lack of independent victims of crime advocacy and effective remedies is NOT a stupid story! Queensland is the only state, which does not have an independent VOCA (Victims of Crime Advocacy) because Peter Beattie disbanded it on a pretext.

Do you really believe I am uneducated because I raised the issue of judicial abuse and judicial corruption against an unrepresented bullied schoolboy as described in my comment below of 24 March, 2010 - 11:41 AM?

If not at this forum, where would you have me raise this issue, given my local MP, John Mickel the Speaker of Parliament has denied us electoral representation and had me violently ejected from Parliament when I went there to raise this issue as a last resort? And given Attorney General Cameron Dick has ignored me (and continues to) and the highly ineffective and politicised CMC and PCMC have refused to investigate my documented and corroborated allegations.

I await your suggestions with interest.

  • Melissa Collins, I could not be at the forum , so in one way you are calling me uneducated . Last time I checked nearly every problem we have today has been caused by over educated people such as yourself . If being sick of the way law and order is working in this state makes us uneducated , I would rather this than to be like you
