  • Jo Jud, you make an excellent observation. While the shortfalls of the Labor Government in Queensland are increasingly obvious, it is easy to forget that we also require a quality Opposition to ensure high standards of governance. The LNP must bear some of the blame for our sorry state of affairs, because they have continually failed to put up a credible, electable alternative Government - even when the Labor Government should have been in its death throes at the last election. Worse still is the fact that, even now, the LNP seems to be positioning itself for another three years in Opposition.

  • @Jo Jud..
Got a surprise for you Jo... That idiot Lawrence is still in charge... They are just playing ducks and drakes and trying to remain in opposition.
They don't want to govern in Queensland, probably because BLIAR and her predecessors have made such a balls up of things and got us into so much debt and ill repute, that it is all going to fall apart on its own... without an election.
(and the Security Code is BOOING..) SHOOOOOOOOTTTTT.

  • I wish Lawrence was back in charge. I'd vote for him and his party in a second. But while this fool is still the head I don't have anyone to vote for. Anna has made her and her party impossible to vote for in their panicked and inefficient way of handling the state finances and this fool offers no decent alternative. The sooner the Lib/Nat see what a useless respresentative he is the better...Please bring back Lawrence and give us someone who we can have some respect for and hope in...because goodnes knows there isn't anything on offer at the moment from either parties. Jo

  • The extraordinary level of taxes taken in by State Governments since the introduction of the GST,including gaming, fines, rego etc, should mean we never need tolls again. However the equally extraordinary waste of State Governments on swelling bureaucracies will mean we are paying tolls for a long time. Unless we finally throw these wasteful fools out, and give another group a go at fixing the mess, no matter how inept they seem at present, we will never escape the increases in every Government charge

  • If we have a choice- don't use them- I certainly won't.
Anna won't be able to sell them if nobody uses them as we did with the Clem7.
