Springborg with Smith
Talk about spin… Michael Smith talks with Queensland Deputy Opposition Leader Lawrence Springborg about the Bligh governments proposed laws for dealing with paedophiles. Listen and comment now.

@Jennifer.
Unfortunately Jennifer, Mr Springborg is just a bloody wimp. He plays ducks and drakes with the leadership of his party and the party does not seem to want to govern in Queensland. They want to be in opposition.
Maybe it's because of the bloody mess this disgusting Labour Party has got this State in financially and perhaps they just can't see how to reverse the trends.
Anyway... I'll be bloody surprised if you get any help from him or them.
Good luck with it Jennifer.Wobblyone Tuesday 3 August, 2010 - 1:18 PM -
Talk is cheap Mr Springborg, but action count a thousand words! Will you be there showing your deep concern and be asking serious questions when my petition for an Independent investigation into the unlawful editing of courtroom audio tapes and transcripts is tabled tomorrow?
I refer to my comment of 13 July and 16 July in this blog: http://www.4bc.com.au/blogs/michael-smith-blog/lawrence-springborg/20100709-103oa.html
Why are you not holding government to account when documented and corroborated allegations are brought to your attention? Why do you not want to advocate as Shadow Attorney General for Queensland constituents?We know the Bligh Labor government does not care about victims and is soft on crime. But I still only see crocodile tears here and no substance. Honest is as honest does Mr Springborg!
