  • Smithy,
Actions speak louder than words, ergo in the words of Senator Chris Evans spoken just a short while ago, the Timor Centre is on hold till the end of 2011, and the Prime Minister has only been in the job for a short while - a week and a half; if I may say "I told you so" Lies, lies and more damned lies. To quote Bob Brown, "Its only rubbish"
    Oh Me, Oh My.

  • Lies, lies and more damned lies. The dissitation by the first female Prime Minister of this Country, M/s Gillard was as rhetorical as any given by ex. Prime Minister Kevin Rudd. Gillards assertion that her solution to the problem of Illegal Refugees - and I use that term because they are - in no way, shape or form resembles that of the Coalition Government of John Howard is fanciful to say the least. The Labour Party has but shifted the processing of Refugees from Nauru to Timor, an Independent Nation, a nation still trying to find itself and feed it people. Personally I do not believe that they will have anything to do with it, unless of course they are blackmailed into co-operating with Labours moves. Again we have the Labour Party completely ignoring the view of the majority of the Australian People. The Australian taxpayer has over the last few years spent a $1/2 Billions dollars on improvements to Christmas Is. so has this been wasted, as is Labours want. I heard a figure of $1 Billion mentioned to spend on the Illegal Immigrant problem. This no doubt to re-locate the facilities. All of this to give the appearance of the new Politburo Chief to be seen to be doing something. The problems of Illegal immigration have not and will not be solved under this current Government. The old Labour Party trick of "tell them what they want to hear" before an election is called. My dear, dear people, you are being conned, yet again.
