  • Broadband - until I thought about it, I was for the superbroadband idea. 42 billn divided by 10,000 homes equals $4,200 each. At $50 per month it will take 7 years to pay off the capital. And if one part of any broadband path to my home for any session is lower speed technology, the whole path will operate at the lower speed.

Any business plan wont stand up.

    Im against it strongly now.

  • It would appear that the new improved version of M/s
Juliar Gillard, as presented over the last week has not been very successful. Enter allegedly for the sake of Australia, Mr. Kevin (07 now Kevin 010) Rudd, this also a new, revitalized version after his Gall Bladder operation. Rudd wants us ("We the People - For the People) to believe that he is fully behind the very woman who stabbed him in the back, the woman who usurped the highest position in this land; the woman who acting with him, economically bankrupted this Country. I'm sorry folks, if you believe Rudds Press Conference (with no questions from the Med
dia) yesterday, then you believe in the tooth fairy. I noted also the inability of the Deputy Prime Minister, Wayne Swan, assistant to Gillard in the knifing process, was unable to answser one question, viz. the Interest Rate being paid to China and others, for the Billions of Dollars they, (let that read we the people) are paying for loans incurred by this Communist/Socialist Labour Party Government. As a Catholic I am also insulted that this athiestic hypocritical woman should offer to Buy the Catholic Vote with a $1.5 Million donation towards the beatification of Mother Mary McKillop. As former Senator Graham Richardson said "Anything to get re-elected". Kevin Rudd has proven yet again that he is one of the Great Spin Merchants within the Labour Party.

  • @Phil of Springwood.
    G'day to you too mate.
    Tolerating ourselves into bloody oblivion.
But then, we can only blame ourselves I guess...
Our Christian heritage has been scuttled and the deviates are on a roll..
Gods' Law has been over-ruled by the lawmakers (self-serving interest) and our tolerance has put the country in a very vulnerable position.
A great shame. And I feel so sorry for my grandkids.
Benny Wrong is buying all Winston Churchill's suits, but won't wear the ties, and it is "out" too.
    What a mess mate.

  • @Wobblyone. G'Day mate, Juliar says that that promoted Labour Party version of her isn't getting the right message across to the voting public. Between now and the election she is going to show us the real Juliar.
Does that mean that she is finally going to start telling the truth and come clean, is she going to come out of the "Closet"??? I believe that Aussies have finally seen through this Labour Party Trash!!

  • MICHAEL,
some one need to get the message out to the people of australia (the people who listen too and watch only popular radio and tv) that all is not good in australia we have govenment and a shadow govenment who are in it for something other than what is good for ordinary people. After closing down australian waters to australian fishermen will the gouvenment the sell these areas off to the chinese?

  • Having very uneasy thoughts with all the Hoo Haa going on in this country.
    Very bad vibes...
Could it be possible that we are headed for a Government headed by a hot headed Lesbian, Athiest, Communist, with no regard for anyone but her own agenda? Who refused to swear any allegiance to anything on the Bible and intends to "shack up" with her "friends" in the tax payer funded Government House if she is elected.
What is the matter with the place please?
Where have all the real reporters of the news gone?
Why is Andrew Bolt looking like one of the very few with a voice who is trying to get the truth across to the selfish bloody dimwits in this country who care only that they have access to their booze, fags and gambling?
We are the last really free country in the world and these indescribable bloody donkeys are handing it over to an illegal population of immigrants.
No bloody wonder Mental Health and suicide are ranking so high in the list of things that our politicians couldn't give a rattarse about.
    God help my grandkids.
