Law and Order
Check out this ad from the Queensland Times, Saturday April 26, 1997.
Rob Borbidge was the Premier with the then National Party government.
When was the last time you heard of anyone receiving life for burglary/home invasion in Queensland?

How insignificant this issue is when you compare it to the fact that our borders are being invaded by ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS who a committing crimes to start with by doing their illegal acts of entering Australia. Wait till all the bleeding hearts, churches which are the worst hypocrites and in for every dollar they can make in this. If you think what is happening now it's onlyl going to get worse.

So how r those ideas going?
1. minimum sentencing
2. mitigating circumstances of victims and their families to be addressed to the court before sentencing
3. Why do criminals sentencing have their mitigating circumstancese heard?
4. elect a new AG and Police Commissioner
5a. Rally up and find more service men leaders such as the President of the Police Union and the Ipswich Major
6. form a sub committe with the above mentioned named with advocats, helpers in our crusade. Leaders who we trust to make us feel safe
7 The AG said he was heading up a committee for Tougher Sentencing laws I don't think it wise for the Attorney General to be selecting the committee.
8. no grey matter its min time to max time
9. have judges up for review on the panel of our committe for performance reviews weekly or in colaboration for sentencing
8. youths have prison or boot camp re affend prison
9. Government worried on cost of prisoners but what about the victims support payment that the AG handed a sheet to us about. Lets request more payment for victims and their family. government will see that victims need to be taken care of and if they keep reaffenders brehind bars their would be less victims therefore would you want a known repeat offender let out again?
Therefore: a repeat rapest must recieve each sentence consecutively after the other NO GREY MATTER no matter how sorry he is and how much he is going to cost to taxpayers " we all want him behind bars" so judges must hold communities expectations and stay in bars. The victims recieve support money and maybe judges might want to put their super into that especially those judges that released the criminal into our community.Nicci Heath Thursday 18 March, 2010 - 8:26 PM -
I just listened to what the Attorney General, Cameron Dick had to say at todays forum. He has just reinforced the comment I made yesterday, that this socialist Labor government is both incapable, and unwilling, to address the law and order issue. It is not in their DNA. It goes against their socialist philosophy. Subsequent to this "forum" today, the political masters will instruct the Police Service to try and produce dodgy statistics, to minimise the political damage. It's as certain as the sun rising. Labor policy is to, at first, deny the problem, and if that doesn't work, produce dodgy statistics to spin your way out of trouble.

I have just come back to my office after attending the disgusting display of rampant agression that passed for your Law and Order forum. It seemed to me to not be constructive at all. I sat and listened to the speakers although that was difficult given the jeers, cat calls and abuse being hurled from the rabid foaming, audience members. Although I am loth to tarr all with that brush. There were people there that wanted to hear what was being said. I enjoyed the Speach by the President of the QP Union. I believe that we do need more proactive Police in this state. Mike I am sorry but I saw this as a cheap way to have another shot at our legal system. If you don't like it move to Singapore, or to the USA where your populist views will carry some weight. I also hope that Mr Springborg was watching and listening as these same people will attack him as well if he fails to live up to their warped views.

I don't see any of the State Police Departments listed on the stock exchange.
So I was wondering on what date did they cease serving the public and start operating as businesses.
Solution maybe to privatise all the revenue raising opertions that are currently being performed by what seems to be about 90% of the police.
This should free up about 90% of the police depatment to serve the people of Australia.
Seems too easy.Richard Wednesday 17 March, 2010 - 9:10 AM -
Let's face the facts. The issue of rampant crime and totally inadequate sentences, has only surfaced during the period of this Labor government. Obviously, it is the culture of Labor, to be soft on crime. Labor appoints the Judges and Magistrates. The Attorney General, is a Labor member. I'm afraid, Mike and others, that you can campaign and protest all you like about this law and order issue, but nothing will change for as long as this socialist Labor government exists in Queensland. They are simply incapable of being fair dinkum about it. Labor has had their chance to fix it, and they have no intention of doing so. All you will get at the forum is, spin, spin and more spin. But, good luck anyway.
